About me

I’ve learnt lots of skills as a GP. Clinician, leader, manager, teacher, problem solver, listener.

Being a GP means I am in a privileged position to listen to patients and help them through their issues. I’ve used these skills and used it in postgraduate teaching and mentoring as I discovered that was the part of work I enjoyed the most. It was through mentoring that I discovered coaching, and then went on to train as a coach.

Looking back, my own career has had it's amazing twists and turns. I have tried (and sometimes succeeded!) to develop my career with thought and intention, because it isn’t easy to know which direction to go. I have learnt to have a deep dive into my own natural abilities, skills, where I want to develop, through self reflection, thoughtful conversations and coaching! Seeking Christian wisdom in these contexts has been so helpful. I have also found it crucially important to look at where I am personally in my marriage and family responsibilities, because life is not just about me! And there have been times when it has all been a bit too much and needed to ensure there is balance, because we need those times of rest and refreshment to be healthy in our minds too.

I know that many people go through the same challenges, ups and downs. I would like to be there to walk alongside you to help you discover and find fulfillment in what you do and how you live.

When I’m not working, I enjoy watching MasterChef (and cooking shows in general - I am a foodie!) and The Apprentice. I enjoy being with my family, walking and serving in my church family in North London.
